Born in Israel, raised in America. Ron Egozi graduated from Rutgers University where he studied Environmental Science with an independent study in photography.
After a life-changing internship in NYC during the early 1990s at Maysles Films (Iris, Gimmie Shelter, Grey Gardens, Salesman), Ron Egozi grabbed his 35mm Nikon, a 16mm Bolex film camera, and he began a career, making pictures and never looked back.
Egozi has worked as a NY based cinematographer, collaborating on many music videos, documentaries, commercials, scripted web and television shows over the past 15 years. In 2016, Egozi received an International Motion Arts Award for his short film, “More.” Additionally in 2016, Egozi’s photograph “Masked Boy” was published in the American Photography 32nd annual awards book.
Ron Egozi is a screenwriter, director and photographer living in NYC.
